DevOps and InfoSec are at a crossroads. There are competing agendas between DevOps, who are trying to get applications out the door as fast as possible and in the most efficient way as possible, and InfoSec, who is trying to scrutinize the product at every point. There are different philosophies and different mindsets between these two groups. This is as much as a human problem as it is a technology problem. Having to have these agendas align is easy to say, but not easy to do. There are a lot of challenges behind it.

At Flosum, we decided to ask the hard-hitting questions to understand this misalignment and whether or not these two departments could ever get along. We welcomed thought-leaders from Carahsoft, Space CAMP and Salesforce, to discuss how DevOps and InfoSec teams can work together and overcome these challenges.

You can listen to the recording of the panel session HERE.

In order to comprehend this mismatch and determine whether or not these two departments might ever get along, we at Flosum chose to pose the challenging questions. We invited thought-leaders from Salesforce, Space CAMP, and Carahsoft to talk about how DevOps and InfoSec teams may collaborate to address these issues.
